In Our Own Backyard: A Celebration of the East Bay Regional Parks

The exhibition offers visitors a virtual tour through the East Bay's most scenic parks and open spaces, following the flow of water from snow-capped Mt. Diablo downstream and eventually into the Bay.

"Bob Walker adopted the East Bay Regional Parks—his photography brought to life the beauty and unique features of our landscape,” said Park District General Manager Pat O’Brien. “Through his insightful photographs and passion for preservation, he helped protect thousands of acres of treasured open space."

The Late Show Gardens
Copia: The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts
500 First Street
Napa, CA 94559

This event is something to look forward to because it will happen in the fall when the gardening scene is winding down. There's some impressive marketing buzz about solutions to the threats facing our planet but the best part is that all proceeds will be donated to affordable housing for agricultural workers in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. The list of speakers guarantees a mix of interest and global perspective. See you there!
